Introduction
This website is dedicated to the memory of my beloved parents Suraj Krishna Tikku and Janak Tikku whose lives, inextricably woven with part of my own, showed me the value of hard work, sacrifice and fortitude in the face of adversity. Despite hard times, my parents educated us to the best of their ability and we hope, in some small way, through this foundation, to contribute to the education of others.
The Foundation was established on Jan. 28, 1999 for providing financial assistance to needy students in pursuit of their studies with aims and object as incorporated in the Registration Deed.
For first five years it operated from Delhi and thereafter for the next three years from Allahabad.
In October 2007 a new team of Trustees took over at Neemuch MP. It was here that Mr. & Mrs Tikku spent 15 long years (1935-50) and so the decision to relocate it at Neemuch.
In May, 2019 this Foundation was relocated at Indore with Shri Sarabjeet Singh Bharaj as Chairperson. The Bank interest earnings of this Foundation will be utilized for the benefit of children of a school run by BFR Society. (see masharanam.org)
